Hi Frank,

The challenge posed by the climate crisis is immense. When it comes to the scale of the changes we need to make to keep to even 1.5 degrees warming, there is no precedent in documented history.1 We have to urgently change how we live our lives, from what we eat to how we keep our homes warm, to how we move around.

With each new person ready to get stuck in, the task becomes just a little more possible.

In a couple of days we’ll email you with ways you can take action. For now, we thought we’d introduce ourselves:

At Possible we’re stubbornly optimistic. We never campaign about a problem unless we have a solution. If you want to know more, the best example of our work is probably our solar trains project, or maybe solar schools. Or you might like the thing we’ve been doing with heat pumps in parks…

All of our campaigns sit within five challenges where the UK public can and must have an impact. Find out what you can do to make a difference - click on the challenge that most interests you.
 
- Cleaning up energy - achieving zero carbon power and zero carbon homes.
 
- Changing how we travel - swapping cars for public transport and active travel, planes for trains - and electrifying everything.
 
- Changing what we eat and buy - switching to plant-rich diets, ending waste, and learning to have more fun with less stuff.
 
- Working with nature - restoring nature to lock up carbon and protect us from climate impacts.
 
- Talking about the climate crisis - breaking the climate silence, and empowering everyone to understand the crisis we face.
